found in 50,000-year-old depictions of prehistoric places in northwest Iran.

therapeutic drug. Egyptian healers used Saffron in the treatment of various
gastrointestinal ailments. The Romans used Saffron in medicines for the
treatment of wounds, coughs, colic and scabies.
